Thank you for posting these. I just read them all. They make me puke to. They are worse than I remember. I am going to get my old book bag out and look at the old one, I think these are just more blatantly showing their cult mind control side.
Hey Wife2, Does your husband get these yet? You start getting them when you start going out in service. Has he ever seen them before?
I think these are a great tool for you to use for yourself to to know what to expect next. These have traditionally been used to develope the mind control within the org.

At least they are not going to hold another Waste of Paper Distribution Campaign this fall. After the Christmas season remains up in the air.
However, a waste of paper is better than a study.

Hey WTW.
No waste of paper campaigns is a good thing.
But it seems to me that the only reason they really have these is so that there's a push for hours in service. Low hour publishers like the fact there's not much talking at the door, and you can spend your time going here and going there and placing these one page tracts or invitations. The elders are happy because they get people out in service. It make the congregation feel like they are accomplishing a special work, too.
But they can't use this little trick to get people excited all the time, otherwise it would lose it's "special" feel. So a more random "carrot" campaign is the most effective for morale, in my opinion.
Soon enough there will be another "special" tract campaign, or an invitations coming out. And the song and dance continues, while the GB plays the music.

Being a male UBM, any ideas on how to prepare myself for the most likely appearance by the husband of the sister my wife is studying with....
I also find it interesting the back to school topic for the first week of August, my wife said there are no school age kids at the KH she is going to....what a shame.

Have a baseball (or whatever) game on loud.......have a 6 pack sitting there...crack one open and offer him one too...... belch........cuss a few times.... If you are an unbelieving husband, I would suggest assessing your current position. If you believe in the Bible, I would strongly recommend finding scriptures to refute the witless position. Ephesians 2:8 and 9 is a good one to demonstrate that field circus is a waste of time toward salvation. Luke 2:10-14 is a good one to demonstrate that perfect angels celebrated the first Christmas, and none of them became demons on that incident. Ask them to produce proof from the Bible that those angels were disciplined for celebrating Christmas. If you are unaffiliated and wish to stay that way, simply pointing out the many times God initiated force against people that were merely minding their own business should suffice. They were going about their own business (so what's a little homosexuality or business practices that do not include sacrificing 99.99% to God going to hurt society?). Tyrant David murdered tens of thousands of innocent people and the Bible praises him for it. You see throughout the Bible death threats against people that are just minding their own business, and the Bible glorifies their destruction. Further support can be found online. For the Christian viewpoint, I recommend www.sixscreensofthewatchtower.com and www.freeminds.org. Those who do not believe in the Bible can look at www.evilbible.com and www.skepticsannotatedbible.com to back up their positions. Either can benefit from both sets of sites--even a practical atheist can refute that the Washtowel Babble and Crap Slaveholdery does not abide by the Bible, whether it is accurate or not. But, I suggest doing it quickly. If you wait too long, you will be hit up by those cockroach witlesses. The boasting session detailing this is August 25 or 27 this year, and it is probable that they will start the arrangement as early as August 26 or 28. Bear in mind that, since you are not affiliated if you are an unbelieving mate, you cannot be viewed as apostate. But, by acting like one, you are likely to either plant doubt in their minds (which is another reason a Christian site is of benefit even if you are not Christian) or get them to give up on you. |

I think the sister is trying to 'fast track' my wife, she is only about half or maybe two-thirds through bibleteach and she is getting these, so I love having the information prior to her, at least then I have a bit of an idea what to expect!!!
